We are considering adding ultrasonic cleaning before electrocleaning for parts with complex geometry.
Our parts: brass stampings, 0.3–1.2 mm thickness, some with blind holes and tight bends. Contamination is polishing compound and light oil.
What is your experience with:
- 40 kHz vs. 80 kHz for this type of part
- Bath temperature and detergent compatibility
- Cleaning time before damage to thin parts
- Rinse and drying sequence after ultrasonic
We would rather learn from production experience than buy the largest tank available.
