For zinc-nickel plating on stamped steel brackets, our customer requires 8–12 µm and a nickel content of 12–15%.
Our challenge is the inside bend and the shadowed area behind the tab. We would like to know:
- What thickness distribution do you accept across the part?
- How do you position auxiliary anodes?
- Do you use a higher current density with rack movement?
- How do you verify nickel content at different points?
If you have a proven rack layout for a similar bracket, a description would help.
