Type II vs. Type III anodizing for outdoor architectural parts

We are quoting an outdoor architectural project and need to choose between Type II and Type III anodizing.

Customer requirements: colour consistency, UV exposure, coastal atmosphere, and a 10-year appearance warranty.

What do you specify for:

• Coating thickness
• Sealing method
• Colour/dye selection
• Corrosion and colour-fastness testing

I would like to hear from plants that have actually warranted outdoor work, not only lab data.
